Terms of Sale & Licence

Last updated: 13 August 2026

Buy Ziora once and it’s yours, including every 1.x update. You bring your own AI subscriptions — we never resell or mark up your usage. It is downloadable software, so there is no change-of-mind refund; your rights if something is actually wrong with it are untouched.

These terms are in two parts. Part A covers buying Ziora. Part B is the licence agreement governing how you may use it. By buying or using Ziora, you agree to both.

Part A — Terms of Sale

A1. Who you are buying from

Ziora (“we”, “us”) sells and supports the Ziora application for macOS. Card payments are taken and processed by Stripe; we never see or store your card details. For anything at all about your order, email hello@ziora.dev.

A2. Price and tax

Prices are shown in pounds sterling on the pricing section of this site. The price you see at checkout is the total you pay — any tax due is included in it, and nothing is added afterwards.

A3. What the Founder licence grants

A Founder purchase is a one-off payment for a perpetual licence to use Ziora 1.x for macOS, including every 1.x release we ship. Specifically:

Two things sit outside this licence, and we would rather be plain about them now than surprise you later:

A4. Cancellation and refunds

Ziora is digital content, downloaded and used immediately. We do not offer a general change-of-mind refund, so please read what the app does — and check it runs on your Mac — before you buy.

Your statutory rights are unaffected by that. If you are a consumer in the UK or the EU you normally have 14 days to cancel a purchase of digital content, and you lose that right only where you have expressly consented to the download starting straight away and acknowledged that consenting ends the right — which is what you are asked to confirm at checkout. Consumers elsewhere, including in the United States, may have no equivalent statutory right of cancellation.

Separately from any of the above, if Ziora is faulty, not as described, or unfit for purpose, you are entitled to a repair, replacement or refund under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 or your local equivalent. Email hello@ziora.dev and we will put it right.

A5. Ongoing development

Ziora is under active development. The software will change over time, sometimes substantially — features may be added, reworked or withdrawn as the product evolves. Your licence covers the software as it develops, and we will not ask you to buy Ziora twice.

Part B — End User Licence Agreement

B1. Licence grant

Subject to these terms, we grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to install and use Ziora on the number of Macs stated in A3, for your own use.

B2. Restrictions

B3. Your AI providers are yours

Ziora orchestrates coding tools that you install and pay for yourself. You are responsible for your own accounts with those providers, for the costs you incur with them, for complying with their terms, and for whatever you instruct those agents to do. We never see your provider keys and we do not resell or mark up your usage.

B4. Third-party dependencies

Ziora depends on tools and services we do not control — the agent CLIs, their providers, and the services listed in our Privacy Policy. Their availability, pricing, behaviour and interfaces can change or be withdrawn at any time, and that may affect what Ziora can do. We can’t guarantee continued compatibility with any third-party tool.

B5. Your content

Your code, canvases and settings remain yours. We claim no rights over them, and as described in the Privacy Policy, Ziora does not upload them.

B6. Warranty

Ziora is provided “as is” and “as available”. We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted or error-free, that it will work with every configuration of Mac, agent CLI or third-party service, or that any defect will be fixed.

This does not affect your legal rights as a consumer. Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, digital content you buy must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose and as described — and nothing here removes that.

B7. Limitation of liability

We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, for lost profits, revenue, data or work product, or for any loss arising from what an AI agent does when you run it — the agents act on your instructions, in your own checkout, under your own provider accounts. Keep your work in version control and review what agents change before you rely on it.

Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited in total to the amount you paid us for your licence.

Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited. If you are a consumer, your statutory rights are unaffected.

B8. Termination

We may terminate this licence if you materially breach it. On termination you must stop using the software. Nothing here removes any statutory right you have under A4.

B9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction. If you are a consumer resident elsewhere in the UK, you may bring proceedings in your own jurisdiction.

B10. Changes

We may update these terms. Changes apply to purchases made after the updated date shown at the top of this page — we won’t change the terms of a licence you have already bought.
